Cooperation between Intel and Education Ministry in 27 governorates

Intel Science Competition Arab World 2015 kicked off Friday in Alexandria with the participation of 120 students.

During the competition, students will present their sicentifc innovations in 17 specialties and compete for prizes of $10,000.

Head of industry sector at Al-Kobba scientific center at Bibliothec Alexandria Reem Sabry said that Intel and the Ministry of Education will cooperate to support youth and children in innovation and technology.

Sabry said the three expos are held to meet the youth innovative ideas in different governorates.

During the press conference to launch the competition, managing director at Intel Egypt and Levant Region Sameh El-Mallah said that Intel is based on scientific innovation, which contributes in supporting entrepreneurs and innovators.

El-Mallah said the company is targeting cooperation with the government agencies to support innovation between youth and also children.

Intel will concentrate on innovative projects next year, which will help solve the industry sector’s problems.

“In addition, Intel holds makers fairs to help innovators turn their ideas into a tabgible product,” El-Mallah said. “For two years, Intel hes been organising Cairo Innovates to connect innovator with the business community.”
