Chairman of the Housing and Development Bank (HDB) Fathy El-Sebai recently inaugurated the bank’s newest branch in Mokkatam, putting the bank’s total number of branches at 63.
The inauguration was part of the bank’s plan to target expanding the bank’s network to 100 branches.
The bank’s geographic expansion strategy aims to reach the largest number of customers within the local market, to meet their financial and banking needs, and raise the quality of offered services, El-Sebai said.
HDB seeks to develop its information systems in all branches to keep up with the technological developments in banking transactions to reach optimum performance.
The bank further adopted an initiative to support tourism in Sharm El-Sheikh. The bank invited a number of investors and customers to hold a meeting with banking leaders in Sharm El-Sheikh to discuss the issues they face, to find solutions, and offer available investment opportunities.
HDB arranged an entertainment programme for its customers to learn about the most prominent tourist attractions in Sharm El-Sheikh, which was attended by the governors of the Red Sea, South Sinai, and Aswan.
