The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) board approved the inclusion of the Industrial Development and Workers Bank of Egypt (IDBE) to the list of accredited consulting firms IDBE Chairman El-Sayed El-Kosayer said Sunday.
IDBE joins the lost in the field of evaluating machinery, equipment, and buildings, El-Kosayer noted.
El-Kosayer told Daily News Egypt that IDBE has long experience in the field and highly efficient specialists, which qualifies the bank to undertake trustworthy evaluations.
The list of accredited consulting firms at CBE includes 81 institutions, among which there are only two banks; the Housing and Development Bank (HDB) and IDBE.
These institutions specialise in evaluating land, buildings, tools, equipment, and goods. In order to be accredited by CBE, these institutions must have the necessary experience in the process of evaluation.
