Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Egypt has launched the Fiat 500X in Egypt, part of the larger Fiat 500 family, according to a press release.
“Fiat 500X does not only offer typical Italian design and style but also state-of-the-art technology and operational functions. The Fiat 500X will be available starting January 2016 at the showrooms of our Fiat dealer, Nile Engineering with two trim levels: Pop and Lounge”, FCA Egypt CEO Maciej Ratynski said in the press release.
Moreover, Hisham Eltayeby, Managing Director of Nile Engineering, said in a previous interview: “We are proud of FCA’s confidence and trust in us, and we are happy to expand the range of vehicles offered to reach the widest client base possible in Egypt.”
“We are ready to offer the full range of service, spare parts, maintenance, and regular inspections for Fiat vehicles in Egypt through our service centre in Obour. Moreover, we are happy to announce the opening of a new point of service centre in Alexandria.”
Regarding the car’s specifications, FCA Egypt’s Fiat & Alfa Romeo Brand Manager Joseph Daniel said: “Fiat 500X brings to the Egyptian market innovation and operational functions while maintaining the classic Italian look.
“The new model features capabilities for all weather and driving conditions and an economic 140 horsepower 1.4-liter MultiAir2 engine with a six-speed automatic gearbox (DDCT), not to mention many safety and security features, high quality entertainment system, state-of-the-art technology and capabilities ideal for city life.”
The Fiat 500X includes a number of new features, such as the UConnect system which includes a navigator, colour touch screen, and voice command system. The car’s sound system is powered by BeatsAudio.
The car also complies with Fiat’s standard safety and security systems, and includes six airbags, among other features.
