The Geely Emgrand 7 topped the list of Chinese cars sold in Egypt, recording sales of EGP 493m from January through the end of November 2015, having sold 5,543 cars.
The Speranza Tiggo and Envy maintained their positions at second and third in sales. Both models did not register any sales in September, October, and November 2015. As such, sales for the Tiggo remained at EGP 263m for 1,969 cars, while the Envy sold 1,969 cars for EGP 134m.
The Chinese personal car market in Egypt achieved total sales of EGP 1.18bn during the first 11 months of last year, representing 3.8% of the total value of personal car sales in Egypt in the same period, which amounted to about EGP 30.6bn.
Chinese brands sold 12,300 cars, acquiring 6.8% of the total market.
