The first month of 2016 is ending with a notable appreciation in the Gulf stock market. Dubai’s capital market climbed by 8.97%, followed by Qatar, which increased by 8.01%.
Saudi Arabia’s market surged by 7.62% and Abu Dhabi’s followed, increasing by 4.64%. Muscat’s bourse also increased by 3.07% and Kuwait inched up by 1.3%
However, the month saw an overall significant decline in the Gulf’s capital market. The decline in Saudi Arabia’s capital market was registered at 14.86%, while Kuwait’s market declined by 10.73%. Dubai dropped by 9.3% and Abu Dhabi’s capital market decreased by 8.55%.
