Al-Mansour Automotive introduces Opel Mokka to its showroom in bid to boost sales

Al-Mansour Automotive is looking at several measures to give 2016 a productive start, including the introduction of the 2016 Opel Mokka to its showroom floor and plans to open several new branches and integrated service centres.

Ankush Arora COO of Al-Mansour Automotive revealed to Daily News Egypt that that the company faced a great deal of challenges in 2015, but despite this, the company posted relatively stable sales, with a retreat of only 4% in a year over year comparison to 2014.

Al-Mansour Automotive sold 5,000 cars from the German automotive maker Opel in 2015, according to Arora. The figure represents a 20% increase in total sales in a year over year comparison to 2014.

The increase in sales of the Opel brand has prompted Al-Mansour Automotive to place a greater emphasis on the German automotive maker in hopes that they can better align with the Egyptian market.

Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing Director at Al-Mansour Automotive Mahmoud Lotfy Mansour contended that Opel is a brand that Egyptian customers’ trust.

Lofty Mansour added that the company expects the introduction of the car to achieve record sales. The Mokka model will be offered in two prices ranges, the highline which will sell for EGP 212,000 and the top line for EGP 242,000.

Arora also revealed that Al-Mansour Automotive plans to establish three new integrated service centres and to open nine new branches this year.
