Assistant President for national projects Ibrahim Melhleb said the state is working on national projects to implement are a record achievement exceeds all global indicators. These mega projects are a positive message to youth that Egypt is moving towards sustainable development in the next stage.

The national projects such as implementing six tunnels under the Suez Canal, social housing projects, as well as roads and new bridges projects are facing a number of challenges, most notably the training and specialised technical labor, the former Prime Minister said.

The year 2015 witnessed a major breakthrough in roads and bridges projects and a total of 130 roads are completed.

He said that the government should exert efforts with the private sector to develop vocational training and education projects to eliminate the chronic problems of unemployment.
