A group of lawyers organised a rally Thursday at the Lawyers Syndicate, protesting against the delimitation agreement of maritime borders signed between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, renouncing the two islands of Tiran and Sanafir, long under Egypt’s sovereignty, to Saudi Arabia.

Lawyers demanded the agreement to be abolished and a public referendum to take place on the matter.
