Google helped retrieve, delete data of more than 200,000 devices daily in 2015

Google’s annual report for 2015 concerning the security of Android operating system showed that the company succeeded in protecting users from malicious software by scanning more than 6bn applications installed on mobile devices daily.

The company also helped to retrieve and delete the data of more than 200,000 portable devices daily.

Google contributed to protecting users against threats on communication networks and mobile devices by screening 400m devices daily. Applications  suspected of being harmful were installed on less than 0.15% of the devices that download their applications from the Google Play store.
