Occupancy rates in Ain Sokhna have exceeded 90% during the Easter holidays, head of the Hotel Workers Syndicate Tarek Abu Ads said.

Turnout has notably surged, Ads told state-owned MENA.

Earlier this month, an official from the Egyptian Chamber of Hotels told Daily News Egypt that, rather than Cairo, Luxor or Taba, Egyptians prefer to spend their holidays in open areas in Alexandria or El-Qanater El-Khayreyya on the shore of the Nile river, near Cairo.
