Telecom Egypt (TE) has launched Meraki, in collaboration with Cisco, to serve small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and companies. The service depends on cloud computing solutions in wireless networks management through a single platform.
The service enables organisations and companies to facilitate the process of establishing and managing networks that are based on cloud computing services, which lowers costs and operating expenses, reduces long-term costs, attract a new segment of customers and increases revenues, said managing director and CEO of TE Tamer Gadalla.
Chairperson of TE Data, a subsidiary of TE, Ahmed Osama said that Meraki service is an institutional solution to manage and establish networks through cloud computing services that help to save, manage, and analyse information and reduce costs. This is in addition to aiding professional infrastructure management and business expansion, increasing revenues, and providing new job opportunities in all sectors.
He added that TE’s strategy is based on providing value-added integrated services, and networks’ institutional services that suit various sectors. At the top of these services come cloud computing services, data centres, and high-quality video conference.
The services enhance the productivity of the companies and reduce their expenses.
