Vodafone acquires 300,000 new customers in March 2016

 Vodafone managed to attract the biggest share of new customers in March 2016. The company signed in more than 300,000 new customers, raising its total customer base from 38.9 million in February to 39.2 million at the end of March, according to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

Orange increased its number of customers from 33.3 million in February to 33.4 million by the end of March, while Etisalat customers increased from 22.3 million users in February to 22.4 million users by the end of March.

According to the ministry’s indicators, the number of subscribers to mobile services increased by the end of March compared to February. The number of mobile users increased by 600,000 according to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

The ministry’s indicators registered an increase in the number of subscribers to mobile services, registering 95.2 million by the end of March compared to 94.6 million by the end of February.

With regard to ADSL services, the number of users increased by approximately 80,000, from 3.9 million to 4 million users by the end of March. Land lines continued to lose users; subscribers decreased from 6.2 million users at the end of February to 5.9 million by the end of March, a loss of about 300,000 users.
