Brexit blows away MSCI’s last week gains

MSCI Emerging Market Index lost all of the gains it achieved in the last week as a result of the historic referendum through which the Brits decided to exit the European Union.

The index registered a slight weekly retreat from 806.22 points to 805.87 points, a decrease of 0.04%.

Index MSCI registered increases during the first four sessions of last week by 1.85% on Monday, that decreased to 0.51% on Tuesday, then 0.48% on Wednesday, before gains rate increased to 0.74% on Wednesday.

However, after the Brits decided to exit the European Union, the index fell during the Friday session by 3.54% at once.
