Egypt’s entrepreneurship ecosystem witnessed another significant partnership; technology investor A15 and digital food platform Mumm came together, bringing about an investment and a merger.

Mumm is a digital platform through which customers can order home-cooked meals delivered to their doorstep. The startup encourages Egyptian homemakers to sell their foods to those looking for wholesome, healthy meals throughout the day.

According to A15’s press release, Mumm merged with DishDino, one of A15’s first investments in the homemade food industry. The brand name of DishDino will be gradually phased out.

A15 also granted Mumm a seed investment; however, the amount was undisclosed. With this move, A15 aimed to not just empower homemade food tech startups, but also empower home-based entrepreneurial cooks.

A15 has a portfolio of more than 15 commercial entities in 20 Middle Eastern markets, such as ConnectAds, Link Development, ArpuPlus, E7gezly, and many others.
