Nissan’s New Sunny maintained its position as the best-selling Japanese car in the first five months of 2016, selling 5,451 units at a total value of EGP 675m.
Mitsubishi Lancer EX came in second place with sales of 3,073 cars at EGP 537m, followed by Nissan Sentra with 2,151 units valued at EGP 347m.
Toyota Corolla ranked fourth selling 1,273 cars at EGP 299m, followed by Subaru XV in fifth place with 1,123 cars valued at EGP 320.5m.
Nissan’s New Sunny also topped the sales of Japanese cars over the first four months of the year as 4,154 cars were sold for EGP 506.7m
Mitsubishi Lancer EX also came in the second place with sales of 2,389 valued at EGP 406m.
Nissan Sentra came in third place selling 1,748 units over the first four months of the year at EGP 292m.
Toyota Corolla was ranked fourth after selling 993 cars at EGP 218m, followed by Subaru XV in fifth place with 936 cars worth EGP 238.6m.
