Nissan’s New Sunny maintained its position as the best-selling Japanese car in the first six months of 2016, selling 6,636 units at a total value of EGP 822m.
Mitsubishi Lancer EX came in second place with sales of 3,761 cars at EGP 658m, followed by Nissan Sentra with 2,393 units valued at EGP 386m.
Toyota Corolla ranked fourth, selling 1,618 cars at EGP 380m, followed by Subaru XV in fifth place with 1,318 cars valued at EGP 382m.
Nissan’s New Sunny had maintained its position as the best-selling Japanese car in the first five months of 2016, selling 5,451 units at a total value of EGP 675m.
Mitsubishi Lancer EX came in second place with sales of 3,073 cars at EGP 537m, followed by Nissan Sentra with 2,151 units valued at EGP 347m.
Toyota Corolla ranked fourth, selling 1,273 cars at EGP 299m, followed by Subaru XV in fifth place with 1,123 cars valued at EGP 320.5m.
