President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met with editors-in-chiefs of state-run newspapers Al-Ahram, Al-Gomhuria, and Akhbar Al-Youm.
Before the meeting, the editors discussed with the president their newspapers’ internal issues and current administrative and economic conditions.
During the meeting, the president discussed with the three editors various internal and external issues, and recent developments of issues that concern the Egyptian public.
Both editors-in-chief of Akhbar Al-Youm newspaper Yasser Rezk and Mohamed Abdel Hady Allam had previously requested a meeting with the president to discuss their newspaper and get insights on certain topics.
