Banque Misr launched a service that allows its customers to enquire about their credit score via ATMs.

Mohamed El-Etreby, chairperson of Banque Misr, said that this service is part of the bank’s strategy to adopt the latest technologies in banking services to meet the needs of its clients and provide them with unique services.

This service enables holders of Banque Misr prepaid and debit cards to enquire about their credit score, which is one of the pillars for obtaining any credit facilities. The service will soon also be made available to credit card holders.

El-Etreby explained that the bank’s clients can enquire about their credit score through the bank’s 1,740 ATM machines across Egypt.

Chairperson and CEO of the Egyptian Credit Bureau I-Score, Mohamed Kafafi, said that this service will open new horizons for Banque Misr’s clients to learn their credit scores and follow up on it.

He noted that I-Score is working to implement the latest innovative and specialised services in the field of credit information services in the Egyptian market, including all credit facilities institutions.

Mohamed Refaat El-Houshi, managing director of I-Score, said that the new service was made available by linking together systems of Banque Misr and I-Score through ATMs. He pointed out that the service is accurate, quick, safe, and holds up to all international banking quality standards.
