The 2016 Junior World Modern Pentathlon Championships has come to an end, celebrating the mix relay competitions’ finals at the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday.
The Italian team, which included Matteo Cicinelli and Francesca Tognetti, won the gold medal, after they acquired 1,428 points.
The French team, composed of Brice Loubet and Pulcherie Delhalle, acquired the silver medal, thanks to 1,415 points.
The German team of Marvin Dogue and Alexandra Bettinelli, came in third place with 1,411 points.
The Egyptian team included Haidi Adel and Sherif Rashad. They were ranked fifteenth with 1,171 points.
Twenty-eight countries participated in the championship, including Egypt, Lebanon, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Guatemala, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Lithuania, Mexico, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Greece, the United States, and Ukraine.
