The much anticipated SME Beyond Borders conference is set to open Monday in Cairo at the Nile Ritz Carlton Hotel on the subject of #TheMissingMiddle. The event is organised by CPI Business in partnership with the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD).

Bringing together thought leaders from the government and public and private sectors, SME Beyond Borders #TheMissingMiddle will address the critical issue of capacity-building for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME). Speakers will explain how to overcome the challenge of ‘the missing middle’ segment of small businesses and pave the way for larger, aspirational SMEs that can make a powerful contribution to the country’s economic growth.

SME Beyond Borders #TheMissingMiddle is a highly practical event and a unique networking opportunity. It is set to show business owners how to create the exponential growth that boosts capacity and brings market opportunities.

Businesses during the event will get the answers they need on funding options and how they work, the power to attract highly-skilled senior staff, key economic factors and how to ride the trends, and pending regulations and what they mean.

SME Beyond Borders grew organically with the economic development of a key Gulf Cooperation Council nation, the United Arab Emirates. Every year in Dubai, the event brings together more than 1,500 delegates in a glittering and insightful forum, from which Egypt now benefits for the first time.
