President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the United Arab Emirates armed forces on Thursday.
During the meeting, Al-Sisi emphasised the importance of the bilateral relations between the two countries, according to a presidential statement.
Al-Sisi pointed to current regional challenges which require the alliance of Arab nations, and more efforts into reaching political settlements to ongoing crises in several Arab countries, in a manner that guarantees their sovereignty and the well-being of their people.
