Egypt defeats Ghana, moves closer to 2018 FIFA World Cup

The Egyptian national football team celebrated a remarkable victory by defeating Ghana with a score of 2-0 on Sunday, making its way through the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification matches.

In the 43rd minute, Mohamed Salah scored the first goal, while the second goal was scored by Abdallah Al-Said in the 86th minute.

This is Egypt’s second victory during the qualifications, placing it at the top of the group, followed by Uganda in second, Ghana in third, and Congo in fourth place.

The match took place at Borg El-Arab stadium and is part of the qualifications’ second round of the fifth group for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The last time Egypt made it to the world cup was in 1990.
