Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouly said that the construction of technological centres is underway in four new cities, adding that four more will be established this fiscal year.

Centres in 13 cities have been under construction. He pointed out that these centres adopt the one-stop shop service and separate service providers from their recipients to create transparency.

The establishment of these centres aims to utilise IT and communication technology in automated systems in the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) and municipalities of new cities to gradually move away from a paper-based system into the digital age, general IT manager at NUCA Eman Nabil said in a press release on Sunday.

NUCA policy aims to facilitate procedures for citizens and offer services in a civilised manner that checks all factors of sustainability, which is the main factor that connects citizens to the community in which they live.

She pointed out that citizens’ service centres have been established at the highest quality to offer the highest level of service to customers of NUCA and its municipalities in new cities at the desired speed and quality.
