One conscript was injured Wednesday in an explosion in Sheikh Zuweid in North Sinai, state-run media Al-Ahram reported.
No details on the bomb were provided by officials.
The conscript is from the forces of the North Sinai Security Directorate and was taken to Al-Arish military hospital, Sinai-based journalist Ahmed Abu Deraa reported in Al-Masry Al-Youm news website.
Meanwhile, security forces arrested 29 terrorism suspects in the cities of Al-Arish, Rafah, and Sheikh Zuweid, he added.
