The Ministry of Military Production is taking part in the second Defence, Security and Public Safety Technologies Fair and Forum (DSS), held in parallel with the 22nd Cairo International Information and Communications Technology (ICT) conference.

The participation comes as part of the ministry’s belief in its role to support national industries and Egyptian products. This is the first time the ministry is taking part in the DSS.

During the exhibition, the ministry will feature a number of its protection products, like protective suits and masks, in addition to products of industrial security, like fire extinguisher tricycles, small firefighting cars, fire extinguishers in different sizes, automotive fire extinguishing systems, solar energy systems, luggage detection devices, electronic gates, surveillance cameras, automatic alarms, photovoltaic panels, and lead-protective curtains.

The ministry will also feature the activities of its affiliate companies to utilise the surplus of the industrial, human, and technological energies in these companies in the implementation of national projects and infrastructure to preserve the environment and produce many civilian products.

The ministry noted that it also plays a main role in meeting the needs of the armed forces, including weapons, ammunition, and equipment, in addition to the implementation of research plans to develop them.

More than 500 international, Arab, and Egyptian companies are participating in the exhibition. These companies are specialised in the fields of defence, security, safety, new energies, smartcards, information and communication technology, and real estate investment.
