Cairo Criminal Court rejected the appeal of three photojournalists against their detention on charges of unlicensed photography, local media reported on Thursday.
They are also facing charges of spreading false information and airing videos affiliated to the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood group.
The three photojournalists, Hamdy Al-Zaeem, Mohamed Hassan, and Osama El Beshbeshy, work for three different independent newspapers and were arrested in September while shooting a video in the vicinity of the Press Syndicate in downtown Cairo.
The photojournalists have seen their detention extended twice since their arrest.
