El-Nadeem Centre for the Rehabilitation of Victims of Violence said in a statement on Twitter on Thursday that police forces closed down the place and arrested the doorman of the building.
“The centre was sealed with red wax. It is worth noting that it is the centre’s weekly day off,” El-Ndeem said.
There have been previous attempts to shut down the centre. The centre provides assistance to victims of violence and issues reports on torture victims.
