KnockMart.com, the online supermarket, has launched an initiative to partner with retail stores. The initiative aims for KnockMart to link shops to its electronic network and provides goods at the same prices. This comes to coincide with the state’s plan to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Ahmed Taher, CEO of KnockMart.com, said that activating the initiative will contribute to achieving several goals, including providing up to 5,000 jobs for youth and meeting the needs of clients across Greater Cairo and new urban cities.
He pointed out that the initiative allows citizens access to food and household goods over the internet at the same prices and offers of major supermarket chains. He added that it will also allow companies to increase their outlets and spread to new areas.
Taher said the company began applying the initiative through a partnership with i_mart in Heliopolis, adding that KnockMart aims to sign partnerships with 35 companies as part of the initiative in 2017 and boost the figure to 350 by 2021.
KnockMart is the first comprehensive online shopping experience in Cairo. Using a streamlined ordering and delivery process, KnockMart.com delivers groceries, household goods, and other lifestyle essentials directly to clients’ doors.
