Samsung reduces prices of mobile phones by 5.6%

Samsung reduced the prices of its mobile phones for the second consecutive time at a ratio between 3% and 5.6% from the beginning of March. The price of the Piton declined from EGP 420 to EGP 400, a reduction of 4.8%.

According to the price list obtained by Daily News Egypt, the price of the J1 declined from EGP 1,140 to EGP 1,100, a decline of 3.5%, while the price of the J1 LTE declined from EGP 1,525 to EGP 1,480. The price of the the J5 dropped from EGP 2,800 to EGP 2,660, a decline of 5%.

The price of the J7 dropped by 5.5% in the new March price list; its price declining from EGP 3,600 to EGP 3,400, while the price of the A5 declined from EGP 6,825 to EGP 6,550, a decline of 4%. The price of the A7 declined by 5.3%, down from EGP 8,000 to EGP 7,580.

According to the new price list, the price of the Note 5 SS declined by 5% from EGP 10,000 to EGP 9,500, while the price of the Note 5 DS declined by 5% to register at EGP 9,600 instead of EGP 10,100.

The price of the S7 Edge declined from EGP 11,700 to EGP 11,100, a decline of 5.1%, while the price of Tab S2 LTE declined from EGP 9,770 to EGP 9,300, a decline ratio of 4.8%.

Meanwhile, iPhone prices saw a decline in February by 3%. According to the new prices list of Apple devices, whether iPhone or iPad, the price of iPhone 7 Plus declined by 3%, dropping from EGP 19,999 to EGP 19,399. The price of iPhone 7 Plus-128GB dropped from EGP 22,699 to EGP 22,018, while iPhone 7 Plus-256GB dropped from EGP 25,299 to EGP 24,540.
