Ejetco International has produced new aluminium parts for the glass facade and plans to get them approved by the Housing and Building National Research Center (HBRC) in the first half of the current year.

Chairperson of the company Ashraf Elkady said that the research centre facility at the aluminium plant has developed new aluminium parts for the glass facades named Ejetco.

He explained that the parts are produced in the company’s plant in Egypt, adding that they have the same quality of their global counterparts and can be used to implement the challenging designs. He noted that they are lower in cost compared to the traditional parts.

He pointed out that the new product is under preparation to be sent to Europe as it still has to be approved in Egypt.

He expected that HBRC will approve the new product before the first half of the current year, noting that the company implemented several projects in Egypt and proved the new product was successful.

The company has started its business in the aluminium sector through a partnership with the international company Smart Structures, which is specialised in glass surfaces in the Gulf. Ejetco implemented a number of projects in Egypt with materials imported from the international company.

Besides aluminium, Ejetco Industries has a constructions company, as well as a real estate investment subsidiary. The group intends to expand in the Egyptian market in the coming period through the purchase of lands in Madinaty, New Cairo, and 6th of October City, along with establishing a new aluminium plant in 10th of Ramadan City.
