After the success of the concerts that have been held since the beginning of the current year, Taba Heights is preparing to open new hotels in order to launch new concerts and festivals, according to Taba Heights chairperson Emad El Tarabishy.

El Tarabishy said that the board has planned a lot of concerts and festivals in Taba to attract and promote tourism to South Sinai.

He added that Taba Heights is interested in reviving tourism in Sinai—due to its unique landscape—and overcoming the low tourist turnout that has recently been witnessed due to the current instability.

El Tarabishy revealed that Taba Heights adopted a new budget to be able to hold more events, including about 10 concerts and festivals in the current year.

He noted that Taba Heights is organising a concert for the end of April, along with holding new ones during the Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha holidays.

The concert that will be held from 28 to 29 April will feature popular Egyptian singer Ahmed Shiba and two Jordanian singers, Ziyad Saleh and Abdallah Fares.

For Christmas in January, Taba Heights held concerts featuring by Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab. The concerts were a great success and witnessed an unprecedented turnout of Egyptians, Arabs, and foreigners, according to El Tarabishy.

From 6 to 8 April, Taba Heights held concerts and festivals, accompanied with different shows from other countries, while the concerts featured Lebanese singers Fares Karam and Moeen Shreif.

He pointed out that Taba Heights is keen on preparing concerts and festivals in the style of UK Garage Fest and Moroccan Mawazine Festival.

Singer Moeen Shreif said that he was pleased to perform at this concert to show the world that Egypt is a safe country full of joy and a unique landscape, calling other Egyptian and Arab singers to support these promotion campaigns to attract more tourists and prove that Egypt is one of the safest places to visit.

Taba Heights contracted with concert organiser Hany Hassan and will continue organising concerts until the end of the current year.
