AAIB develops some branches to serve special needs clients

The Arab African International Bank (AAIB) has developed some of its branches to suit special needs clients, as part of the bank’s keenness to achieve financial inclusion.

The bank has developed the sidewalks and entrances to make them wheelchair accessible. It also equipped some of the branches with teller windows of different heights.

Hassan Abdullah, CEO of the bank, said that the philosophy of financial inclusion aims to include those segments of society that could not access banking services before.

He noted that they understand the challenges special needs citizens face and that they try to find more innovative solutions to help them conduct their banking transactions.

Moreover, he explained that in order to ensure easier access to banking services for special needs clients, the bank enables clients to do all banking transactions anywhere at any time, including transferring funds within the same bank account and paying for credit card dues.

Abdullah stressed that the bank continues to work on the development of some of the other branches to provide the best innovative services to this segment of customers and to activate financial inclusion.
