ITIDA discusses with Saudi businesspeople investment opportunities in New Administrative Capital

Asmaa Hosni, CEO of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), has received a delegation of leading Saudi investors to discuss investment opportunities in the City of Knowledge in the New Administrative Capital.

The meeting reviewed the competitive advantages and investment opportunities in new Egyptian technological parks, especially the City of Knowledge, which will be built on an area of 300 feddans and will include centres of research, science, innovation, and entrepreneurship, as well as a university and technological institutions.

The participants also tackled the most prominent projects and strategic initiatives launched by ITIDA, including the Technology Learning Initiative and the Electronics Design and Manufacturing Initiative. The agency has recently signed a number of cooperation and partnership agreements with major Asian companies specialised in these fields.

The meeting was attended by ITIDA’s CEO deputies and a number of senior executives, as well as the chairperson of Wisers for consulting engineers, the local partner of the investment group in Egypt.
