The chairperson of the Egyptian Exchange, Mohamed Omran, hosted a meeting with a delegation of Infor, a software provider, headed by its CEO, Charles Phillips, to discuss a possible investment of the company worth approximately $1bn, according to a press statement issued on Wednesday.
The delegation told Omran how the company views the Egyptian market and how it looks at its current investment opportunities.
Moreover, he hosted a meeting with a delegation of CitiBank International, whose representatives stated that the decisions and reforms undertaken by the government are right.
Omran said in the statement that the meetings are part of its efforts to communicate with global and regional investment communities.
He added that the Egyptian Exchange is promoting the reforms taken by the government to improve the investment climate.
