The Opel Insignia has topped the market for European cars in Egypt during the first quarter of this year, with 526 units sold for EGP 294.5m.
The Opel Astra came second with 525 sold cars for EGP 188.9m, followed by the Renault Duster in third place, with EGP 130.8m in sales and 429 sold units. In the fourth place came the Renault Kadjar, with EGP 127.1m in sales and 326 sold units, and in the fifth place came the Renault Sandero, with 206 sold units for EGP 44.5m.
The Opel Astra was able to remain in the top spot over its European rivals in Egypt throughout 2016, with 3,882 sold units for EGP 1.37bn. The Opel Insignia came in second place, with 2,706 sold units for EGP 1.46bn.
