Egypt will be hosting the 4th round of the Mashable Social Media Day on 8 July. The event will be a summit to host international and regional experts on the latest in digital media trends, in addition to business owners across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The summit will host figures including Facebook, Instagram, and IBM Watson.
The event will celebrate technologies, help businesses develop their online strategies, and provide them with the opportunity to connect and showcase their success. It will pay special attention to four main aspects, including digital technology, creativity and content, social media science, and business innovation. Attendees of the event will participate in discussions and workshops.
“We are thrilled to be hosting Mashable Social Media Day for the fourth time in Egypt, and we believe in the huge role that technology plays in connecting people and in developing organisations and industries,” said Zeyad Tarek, the co-founder and marketing manager of the Social Media Day Egypt.
The summit will take place at the American University in Cairo’s Greek Campus, and will last for three days, ending on 10 July.
