Vodafone agrees with SODIC to launch “Go Smart”

Vodafone Egypt and Sixth of October Development and Investment Company (SODIC) have agreed to launch the SODIC GoSmart service, which aims to activate the role of mobile technology and Internet applications through an integrated system of service solutions in all SODIC projects.

 

The new service launched by Vodafone is a ready business service that aims to provide integrated technology solutions for different sectors to help companies develop their business and deliver innovative quality of services based on information technology and the Internet of Things (IoT).

According to the partnership between SODIC and Vodafone, the former will provide a range of services to its residents, including Internet with different speeds and tariffs, a system of cameras for protection inside and outside the house, in addition to an intelligent household control system through various types of sensors and services.

Vodafone offers services through its website or application or through a Vodafone delegate who will be permanently in SODIC as well as after sales services.

The managing director of SODIC Magued Sherif, said that the launch of SODIC GoSmart is part of a comprehensive plan to take residents’ quality of life to the next level, by providing them with the latest technology solutions. “SODIC is very well known for applying the highest quality standards in developing its diversified project portfolio. We equipped our projects with the most advanced technology infrastructure, which enables us to introduce the latest solutions to cater to our customers’ needs,” Magued concluded.

The CEO of Vodafone Egypt Stefano Gastaut said that the new ready compound service comes within the framework of Vodafone Egypt’s keenness to continue constant developments in the field of technology, internet and communication services, adding that the construction sector is one of the most competitive and strong economic sectors, 10.5% of GDP, up from 9% in 2013 as real estate developers in Egypt deliver 10,000-15,000 units annually.
