Memaar Al Morshedy to launch new university in New Cairo

Memaar Al Morshedy Group started the construction works of an Egyptian university on 27 feddans in Fifth Settlement, New Cairom which includes seven different colleges using the latest technological means, according to a press statement on Saturday.

The statement noted that the university is interested in the future of architecture in Egypt. The Memaar Al Morshedy Group is also seeking to sign a contract with several international universities.

Omar Morshedy, the marketing director of the group, said that the company has already started working on the designs required for the launch of the university, where the innovative designs are being completed in cooperation with one of the most important architectural design centres in the world.

He added that the Group will launch several major projects in the coming weeks, while a large real estate project will be launched on the Ring Road towards Fifth Settlement. The group’s approach tends to invest in educational activities besides real estate.

The company recently unveiled its new Katameya Gate projects and the latest projects on a total area of ​​about 43,600 sqm on the Ring Road.

The company also plans to build a Lake Front project on 37 feddans. The project is a residential compound in Fifth Settlement with investments exceeding EGP 1bn.

Fifth Settlement includes three major international universities such as The American University in Cairo (AUC), German University in Cairo (GUC), and Canadian International College (CIC). It also includes other notable Egyptian universities, such as Egyptian Future University, New Cairo Academy, and Police Academy.
