The chairperson of the Arab Investment Bank (AIBK), Hany Seif Al-Nasr, announced the bank’s participation in the 2017 Sacrifice Voucher programme in cooperation with the Egyptian Food Bank (EFB) for the third time in a row. Citizens can obtain the sacrifice vouchers through the AIBK’s branches throughout the country, in an attempt to facilitate the sacrifices, save time and effort, and benefit the society as a whole.

He added that the AIBK’s participation in this programme comes out of the bank’s social responsibility through effective participation in the development of society in various fields such as health, education, people with special needs, and other fields.

Seif Al-Nasr stressed that the bank has paid great attention to supporting social development plans in Egypt since its establishment, where it participated in many supporting activities in Egypt because social responsibility is one of the bank’s core purposes.

The sacrifice voucher programme provided by the EFB offers two types. The first is the local voucher, which costs EGP 2,650. The second is the imported voucher, for EGP 1,850. The EFB slaughter the sacrifice and distribute its meat to needy people during and after the Eid Al-Adha feast.

The AIBK, represented in the Arab Investment Bank Foundation for Community Development, has participated in cooperation with the Orman Charity Association in the distribution of 1,000 food rations. They include basic commodities to support the underprivileged segments and poor families in needy villages. The AIBK also participated in the Misr El Kheir Foundation’s campaign to provide Iftar for five million people and distribute 750 food rations in the slums of Cairo and Giza. The bank also organised a visit to the 57357 Hospital, where it provided gifts and toys for the children.
