MM Group for industry and international trade signed an agreement with Plus one Marketing to become an authorized distributor of Freetel Japan mobile phones in the Egyptian market, the company said in a press release on Wednesday.
The company added that the sale of the mobiles is scheduled to start before the end of 2017 and is expected to generate EGP 50 million for the company revenues in its current fiscal year 2017.
“Freetel mobile Japan phones are expected to be well-received by the Egyptian market and to gain market shares rapidly. The addition of FreeTel Japan Mobile to our phone portfolio will broaden our product offering, targeting a wider customer based,” said Khaled Mahmoud, the company CEO
The company distributes several international brands in Egypt including Vodafone, Samsung Electronics, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Ferrari.
Earlier this year, MM Group for Industry & International Trade offering 30% of its shares in private and public offerings, raising 750 million pounds ($42 million).
