World Youth Forum is an extension for series of successful youth meetings: Al-Sisi

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi stressed Sunday, the importance of holding the World Youth Forum as an extension for a series of successful youth meetings in several Egyptian governorates since last November.

In separate interviews with CNBC US TV station and the Middle East newspaper, in the sidelines of the World Youth Forum, Al-Sisi said that the forum is a distinguish opportunity for extending communication’s bridges between youth from all over the world, according to a statement from the presidency.

During the interview with CNBC, Al-Sisi pointed out to that the Egyptian society is a young society, and more than half of Egyptians are under the age 40.

The president also mentioned the upcoming presidential elections, asserting that the Egyptian people have the right to electing their president. Regarding the economic situation, Al-Sisi said that there is an improvement and this improvement was reflected on investment opportunities especially after the new investment law, the statement read.

Al-Sisi praised the improvement in tourism sector after years of decline. He pointed out that US President Donald Trump understands the challenges that face Egypt and the requirements of confronting terrorism.

During his interview with the Middle East newspaper, Al-Sisi stressed the strategic importance of the Saudi-Egyptian relations and its necessity for the Arab national security. He added that the Saudi manoeuvrers reflects balanced wisdom and firmness.
