Salah beats Cristiano Ronaldo’s market value

The Egyptian national team and English Liverpool’s winger Mohamed Salah has outperformed Real Madrid’s Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of the market value in November.

Football Observatory has estimated Salah’s market value at €104.8m, while Cristiano’s market value was estimated to be €91.8m.

Cristiano Ronaldo is 32.7 years old, and has played 493 matches where he scored 373 goals in 16 seasons through playing for three clubs. Ronaldo’s contract with Real Madrid ends in June 2021.

Our Egyptian player, Mohamed Salah, is 25.4 years old, has played for six clubs in 192 matches where he scored 64 goals during nine seasons he spent with these teams. Salah’s contract with Liverpool ends in June 2022.

There have been news about Atletico Madrid desire to buy Salah during the upcoming winter transitions which start in January, for an amount of €55m. Salah moved to Liverpool’s team earlier this year from Italian Rome team for €39m.

Salah has managed to be part of the basic squad of Liverpool since the start of the season, where he took part in 17 matches and scored 12 goals so far. He also received an award for being the best players in two round of the Europe’s champions league.
