Total Egypt signed a strategic partnership agreement with Kharafi Group for the supply of fuel and derivatives and the establishment of a facility for the supply of advanced jet fuel at Marsa Alam Airport, worth EGP 300m in the first stage,
Ian LePetit, Total Egypt’s managing director, said that the company is providing fuel to over 250 international airports in 75 countries.
Chairperson of EMAK Marsa Alam Hany Okab said that Kharafi Group in Marsa Alam is working to continue its projects on which it embarked years ago in Egypt, with investments of up to $5bn.
He added that there have been several service facilities and utilities projects established within the 29.3 MWh capacity power plant, a water desalination unit with a capacity of 3,000 cubic metres a day, along with an AC of 4,800 tonnes per hour, in addition to water, electricity, and wastewater networks.
