The board of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), affiliated with the Ministry of Housing, agreed to transfer 3.1m sqm of land assets in Motawreen area, Sadat City to the Ministry of Trade and Industry, according to Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouly.
Madbouly said that the NUCA is responsible for delivering key utilities and services to the area of 3.1m sqm, meanwhile, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is responsible for internal services.
Madbouly added that the NUCA has also approved providing investment facilities to industrial units located in small industries clusters, sold by the NUCA or Industrial Development Authority, through exemption from payment of delay penalties in the case of paying all the dues within four months from the date of advertising in newspapers.
“Furthermore, the board of the NUCA approved the allocation of land area of about 26 feddans, in the service centre of New Qena city, for the purpose of “future services”, according to the approved master plan of the city, through an asset transfer to Al-Azhar University to establish new faculties to serve the people of Upper Egypt,” Madbouly noted. “Moreover, the board approved the allocation of two plots of land through selling land on an area of 10.95 feddans to El-Makasa Sport company to establish a sports club in Obour city.”
