Five Egyptian investment banks receive MENA Fund Manager Performance Awards

Five Egyptian investments bank have received the MENA Fund Manager Performance Awards 2018 in Dubai, winning a total of nine awards out of 29 on Sunday.
The five winners where Acumen Asset Management, CI Capital Asset Management, EFG Hermes Asset Management, Rasmala Egypt Asset Management, and HC Securities & Investment.

Acumen Asset Management managed to win three awards as their “Ezdehar Islamic Fund” was named best balanced fund, best MENA equity fund of under $75m, while Misr El Kheir Foundation won the best MENA equity fund of the year.

On the other hand, CI Capital Asset Management won best fixed income fund award for its CIB Money Market Fund (Osoul), and best Egypt equity fund award for the CIB Egypt Equity Fund (Istethmar).

Meanwhile, EFG Hermes Asset Management won two awards, one for best Sharia-compliant equity fund, and one for fixed-income fund of the year for three years of performance. Rasmala Egypt Asset Management won outstanding performance, while HC was named best asset manager in Egypt.

 

The MENA Fund Manager Performance Awards is the largest gathering of fund managers in the region. Awarding decisions are based on performance as well as qualitative and structural criteria.
