=The number of mobile service subscribers increased in November by 0.88% compared to October, bringing the number of mobile service users to about 100.7 million, compared to 99.8 million in October 2017.
On the other hand, the total number of internet users in Egypt declined in November by 2.1% compared to October 2017, as the number of internet services declined from 35.7 million in October 2017 to reach 34.95 million in November.
The decline in the number of mobile internet users has led to a sharp decline in the number of internet users in Egypt. The number of mobile internet users decreased from 27.4 million in October to 26.6 million in November, a decline of 3.3%.
The number of internet users via USB modem devices increased slightly during November to reach 3.25 million users, compared to 3.24 million users in October 2017.
Meanwhile, the number of ADSL users saw a slight growth of 1%, as users increased from 5.05 million in October to 5.1 million in November 2017.
Greater Cairo accounted for 41% of the total number of internet users, while the Delta region came second with 31% of the total number of users, followed by Upper Egypt with 12%, Alexandria and Matrouh with 10%, and the Suez Canal cities with 6%.
On the other hand, the number of fixed-line users increased from 6.58 million in October 2017 to 6.67 million in November 2017.
