The German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GACIC) will host two German delegations in March and April, both coming for trade fairs and promotion purposes.
On the occasion of both visits, the GACIC will organise two events, the first will be held on 28 March, with the aim of promoting for the world’s trade fair for bakeries (IBA), which will take place in Germany from 15 to 20 September 2018.
The other event that the GACIC is organising will be on 4 April, to promote for Glasstec Germany, which will take place from 23 to 26 October.
A statement from the GACIC on Monday said that its event for IBA will be held with the attendance of Egyptian Chamber of Food Industries Chairperson Ashraf El Gazayerli, Monginis Foods Director Adnan Khorakiwala, EgyDairy General Manager Ahmed Nabil, and representatives of the GACIC.
One thousand one hundred ten exhibitors from over 45 countries will participate in IBA, said the statement, adding that major baking companies and celebrities from the industry worldwide will attend the fair as well.
IBA events will include discussions about the challenges that face the baking industry across the world, the new food legislation that Germany issued in 2018, and its impacts on the market, as well as the consumption habits and packaging solutions, noted the statement.
