The Worx, a leading event management and consultancy company specialising in conferences, exhibitions, music festivals, and public concerts, announced a partnership with 138 Pyramids for project management, aiming to support and develop The Worx’s business and investments in the Egyptian market.

The main factor of The Worx’s partnership with 138 Pyramids is for the latter to strengthen and develop their projects.

Neveen El Tahri, chairperson and managing director of 138 Pyramids, said, “our goal of such a partnership is to help entrepreneurs build and/or develop their existing companies, creating direct and indirect job opportunities, as well as joint success opportunities that both companies will achieve through this partnership. Unlike venture capital firms that help expand the scope of companies’ business rather than improving their effectiveness, we are providing integrated support for companies at different stages of their growth.”

Mai Salama, managing partner of The Worx, said that the organisation of events and conferences plays a major role in supporting Egypt’s economy, as well as attracting tourism and investments, which in turn contributes to further development and stability, which is an important element for investors.

The Worx organises some of the region’s largest events, such as an Uber event that was the second largest event in the Middle East and North Africa with nearly 3,000 attendees; the annual ITWORX event, launching the PwC Middle East Graduate Programme in Egypt; and an event showcasing Google products and their benefits to the Egyptian market.

It also notably organised the Shaghalni employment fair, Creative Industry Summit, and many other events.
