Egypt to host IDC CIO Summit 2018 to develop blueprint for thriving in digital economy

Egypt will host on Monday the International Data Corporation (IDC)’s annual flagship event, Egypt-Chief Information Officer (CIO) Summit. A number of Egypt’s most influential CIOs and decision-makers are set to attend at the Nile Ritz-Carlton in Cairo.

The fourth edition of the summit offers a unique opportunity for the region’s leading CIOs to network with some the industry’s brightest figures, discover cutting-edge insights into the latest tech trends, and share invaluable experiences with their peers.

Being hosted under the theme Developing a Blueprint for Thriving in the Digital Economy, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Yasser El-Kady will inaugurate the summit with an honourary keynote speech.

The summit has a long list of partners and sponsors, including the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) as a strategic partner in addition to IBM and Oracle.

Attendees will engage in a full day of interactive workshops, panel discussions, case studies, and seminars about emerging ICT trends such as digital business, disruptive automation, cloud innovation, digital security, the Internet of Things, and more.
